The two-mass flywheel replaces the conventional flywheel and divides it into a primary and a secondary mass. As a result of the favourable distribution of masses and the high flexibility of the damper, critical resonances are shifted far below idling speed. This allows fuel-saving driving in the low speed range at high comfort. |
