The Voith Maxima 40 CC is currently undergoing measuring trips throughout Germany to examine its running properties. The picture shows the most powerful diesel-hydraulic locomotive at Westerstetten station on the "Geislinger Steige" on 22 August 2007.

| The Voith Maxima 40 CC – For the First Time on the Voith Premises in Heidenheim |

| At InnoTrans 2006 in Berlin, our very own complete locomotive had its first outing. After a development time of only 500 days we proudly celebrated the baptism of the "Maxima", the world's largest single-engine diesel-hydraulic locomotive.
On Saturday 3 March, 9:00 - 12:00 h and Sunday 4 March, 10:00 - 16:00 h you will have an opportunity to see the Maxima "live" on the Voith premises. |

In co-operation with our long-term partner Connex Group, the exterior of a bus of the Heidenheimer operator HVG has undergone a complete Voith Turbo Design makeover. The MAN bus, fitted with a DIWA.5 automatic transmission, is used in regular city and long-distance service.
