About 2 000 SMI hydrodynamic transmissions are still in operation today. Voith Turbo has taken charge of their spare parts supply and servicing, including major overhauls.
The following types are concerned:
- Hydrodynamic transmissions type GS 20/4.2, GS 20/4.9, and GS 12/5.2.
- Hydrodynamic transmissions type GSR 30/5.7 and GSR 30/5.8.
- Hydrodynamic reversing transmissions type GSW 20-20/5.5.
