The type 10 mainline railway coupler head is characterised by its generous gathering range both horizontally and vertically, thanks to the use of a guiding horn and a lateral extension. This characteristic gives the coupler head universal appeal.

Benefits
The type 10 coupler head is provided with a two-position coupler lock which ensures additional safety. Proved by type testing the materials selected for the design of the coupler head and the lock easily meet UIC strength requirements, both in tension and compression.
