Wedgelock couplers |
 |
The basis principle of the Wedgelock autocoupler comprises the wedging of the mechanical coupler lock.
On mechanical coupling, the coupler hooks are automatically engaged. They are then locked in position by the driver activating the wedges forward air driven mechanism. In the event of air failure, the wedges are held in position by spring pressure thereby maintaining full and safe coupling.
On mechanican coupling, air and electric connections are made automatically.
The simple and proven design of the wedgelock coupler ensures optimum reliability at a highly competitive price.
