Description |

|
- Replacement for mechanical clutches (turbo coupling clutchable).
 - The turbo coupling is provided for mounting on diesel engines with connections to SAE standard.

Function |
|
|
|
1. Engine start, stand-by operation:
- Virtually no operating fluid in the turbo coupling working chamber.
- Engine start is virtually without load.
- The coupling transmits only very little torque, stand-by operation is not limited in time.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
2. Connection and disconnection of driven machine:
- Connection and disconnection of the driven machine is possible at any engine speed by filling and draining the coupling.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
3. Nominal operation:
- The turbo coupling is full.
- The driven machine has reached its full speed.
- Torque transmission is virtually wear-free.
