Longitudinal drives - spur/bevel type |
 |
There are seven sizes for wheel set masses up to 22 t per wheel set. Each final drive features a preceding helical gear stage, resulting in an overall bevel gear ratio of up to 8.7. Connecting flanges for cardan shafts are available at three shaft ends.
- The compensation of the relative movement of the final drive shaft occurs through the cardan shaft
- The ratio is realised by a combined spur/bevel gear stage
- A torque reaction rod is provided to react the tractive forces back into the bogie frame
