Cardan shafts and connecting elements
Voith cardan shafts and connecting elements fulfil a variety of demands. Our compact and application-oriented high-performance cardan shafts are especially suited for the conditions presented by rail environments. The Safeset safety coupling protects against overloads in the driveline. In the event of an overload, the transmission of power is instantly interrupted following the release of a shear-off valve.
 

Highly elastic couplings are torsional vibration dampers which have proven themselves in daily use. They optimise the entire drive system by displacing resonances and dampening torsional vibrations.
