Voith Turbo is the technology leader for hydrodynamic drives. Turbo transmissions and turbo reversing transmissions are fully hydraulic, automatically operating multi-circuit transmissions.
They are built using the traditional hydrodynamic base components converter, fluid coupling and hydrodynamic brake. Gear changes occur automatically by filling and draining the circuits. With turbo reversing transmissions, the converter of the opposite driving direction acts as a hydrodynamic brake. |
