Voith Turbo Drive Control |
 |
The control system Voith Turbo Drive Control (VTDC) has been developed especially for the optimisation of rail vehicle drivelines, as well as for the regulation and control of Voith turbo transmissions. This system enables the technical integration of diesel engine, turbo transmission, cooling system and electric generator. Modern data networks guarantee the exchange of data between all control systems of the drive components. The electronic interface to the vehicle control system is made via CAN-Bus.
The Voith Turbo Integrated Control (VTIC) is used as hardware for the control system. The VTIC has been developed especially for installation in the under-floor area of the vehicle. It is normally directly installed to the transmission. In order to cope with the harsh environmental conditions in the under-floor area, the VTIC has an increased temperature range and improved torsional stiffness. It is also water-proof.
Technical data:
- 2 CAN-Bus interfaces
- CAN protocols: Voith Protocol VTCnet, CAN SAE J1939, customer-specific CAN protocols
- On-board diagnosis
- RS 232 interface for diagnosis and programming
- Sensor inputs and power outlets for controlling Voith turbo transmissions
- Suitable for ambient temperatures of -40 °C to +105 °C
- IP 67
- Norms: EN 50155, EN 61373, EN 50121-3-2, EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129
