Voith Turbo Control (VTC) has been developed especially for the control of turbo transmissions. Its standard version has a hard-wired vehicle interface through which analogue and digital signals can be exchanged. Additionally, the VTC can be fitted with an MVB-Gateway which enables data exchange via MV Bus.
VTC features several cards which are installed in a 19-inch rack. Due to the open construction of the 19-inch rack, the VTC needs to be accommodated in a control cabinet inside the vehicle. The connection to the sensors and solenoid valves of the transmission occurs via special cables.
With the aid of a laptop, data can be exchanged via the series-fitted RS 232 interface of the VTC. |
