Available series

S series

Technical features

Standard design: Closely spaced sizes from 58 to 435 mm flange diameter. Design emphasis on long bearing life and low moments of inertia.  Torque range of 150 Nm to 275 kNm.

Applications

Marine drives, pumps, locomotives, paper machines, general industrial machinery.

M series

Technical features

Standard design: Closely spaced sizes from 225 to 350 mm flange diameter. Design emphasis on lateral and torsional stiffness.  Torque range of 32 to 143 kNm.

Applications

Marine drives, pumps, locomotives, paper machines, general industrial machinery.

W series

Technical features

Standard design: Closely spaced sizes from 225 to 550 mm flange diameter. Compact design with high torque capacity.  Torque transmission by cross-key in the flange. Torque range of 55 to 1000kNm.

Applications

Rolling mill drives, and general industrial machinery subject to heavy shock loads.

CW series

Technical features

Compact shaft with very high torque capacity due to impact compression of journal crosses.  Equipped with advanced radial and axial bearing assemblies.  Torque transmission by Hirth teeth on the flanges.  Torque range of 1140 to 11340 kNm.

CW shafts are available with deflection angles of 5, 10 and 15 degrees.  Low deflection variations should be deferred where possible for reasons such as higher torsional stiffness and reduced forces on mating parts.

Applications

Rolling mill main drives, heavy duty machines.

H series

Technical features

Compact shaft with high torque capacity and very high bearing life. Center parts characterized by increased torsional and structural stiffnes. Hirth serration as a standard for connecting parts.

Closely spaced sizes from 350 to more than 1000 mm for torque capacities from 360 to more than 8000 kNm.

Applications

Rolling Mill main drives, Heavy Duty applications in general engineering.
